Adam leads the International Wealth and Investment business providing solutions for High Net Worth Clients across Banking, Investments, and Fiduciary. Adam has over 35 years experience in Private Wealth having run teams in Africa, Middle East, and Asia. Adam joined Standard Bank in 2008.

Head: International Portfolio Management, Melville Douglas
Chris leads Melville Douglas’s International Portfolio Management team. Having worked in the investment industry in senior roles for over 32 years, he has in-depth experience in understanding clients’ objectives and delivering tailored solutions. Chris joined Standard Bank in 1990 and is a Chartered Wealth Manager, Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and holds the Private Client Investment Advice and Management Certificate.
Chris became part of the Melville Douglas team in 2022, assuming the role of Senior Analyst with a focus on global technology and internet stocks. He has 10 years’ experience as an equity analyst with hedge funds and private client asset managers. Chris holds a B.Com (Hons) degree and is a proud CFA® Charterholder.
Gary joined the Melville Douglas team as a Portfolio Manager in June 2021 and has worked in the offshore financial services sector since 2010. Prior to joining Melville Douglas, he spent 8 years as an investment professional for a leading independent consultancy firm. He is a Chartered Fellow of The Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) and holds the Investment Advice Diploma and Private Client Investment Advice and Management Certificate.
Justin is co-manager of the Melville Douglas Global Equity Fund. He has over 29 years’ experience in managing global equity funds. Before joining Melville Douglas in 2014, he was a global equity fund manager in London at Sanlam and at F&C Asset Management. He holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Business from Cass Business School, University of London and is also a CFA® Charterholder. Justin is based in Jersey.
Mo works with intermediaries, introducer business partners and private clients across multiple Business Units for Standard Bank Offshore (including Melville Douglas International). He has 25 years of professional experience in the finance industry and is a Chartered Wealth Manager and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment and a Member of the Institute of Directors. Mo is listed in the Spears 500 and CityWealth Leaders Lists.
Sibabalwe joined Melville Douglas in 2021 as a Senior Analyst covering global financials, payments and fintech stocks. Prior to that, he spent over six years on the Allan Gray Investment Team as a generalist primarily covering JSE listed shares. Before starting his investment career, he was an Economic Strategy Consultant with Genesis Analytics, completing a number of projects focusing on financial institution strategy and financial inclusion across the African continent. Sibabalwe holds Bachelor of Business Science with Honours in Economics.
Simon joined Standard Bank in 2002, with over 30 years’ experience in the finance industry. He has built up extensive knowledge of global wealth management solutions, specialising in international fixed income and currency markets. He is co-manager of the Melville Douglas Income and Enhanced income funds, whilst he also managers the investments of a number of high-net-worth clients. Simon is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and has been awarded Chartered Wealth Manager status.
